Some knowledge of electrical engineering, industrial automation and PLC’s.
This course focuses on the basic knowledge of TIA Portal and SIMATIC S7-1200 / 1500 PLCs, developing programming skills in standard LAD, FBD languages, and working with a WinCC project for HMI. The 3-day course offers the possibility for experienced users in Siemens or in other types of PLCs to use their knowledge on the latest SIMATIC S7 systems. For people with little experience in PLCs, we recommend participating in the beginner level TIAP-BASIC course.
In this course we will get acquainted with the current Siemens hardware system and discuss the important features of the TIA Portal software. We will start with the creation of a hardware configuration consisting of PLC, HMI and decentralized inputs / outputs (I / O System - ET200S and ET200SP), configuration that we will use in practical applications.
